Adult Faith Formation

This group meets every Thursday evening in the Church at 7:00. It is a time of enlightenment and learning while viewing a variety of DVDs from The Bible Adventure Series. We invite you to bring your Bible and join us. If you would like to have fun while growing in faith, and be inspired by the Word of God, this Bible study is for YOU!! Registration required.
Bukas Loob sa Diyos (BLD) Covenant Community
BLD groups work together to build communities of faith committed to building its relationship with God and acting with compassion towards others. They are involved throughout the diocese in programs of Christian encounter directed to all areas of human life.
Couples for Christ (CFC)
CFC is a parish-based marriage and family renewal ministry. Its family ministries include Kids for Christ, CFC Youth, Singles for Christ, and Handmaids of the Lord. CFC invites validly married couples, singles, and single men and women to its Christian Life Program (CLP), held regularly at St. Matthew’s Parish.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA is the process through which interested adults are gradually introduced to the Roman Catholic faith. Our group meets with Father Augustine Saturday mornings in the Jubilee Hall. Father welcomes people who are interested in learning more to call him and discuss the situation to see if this group is for you.
St. Matthew’s Prayer Group
This group meets every Monday evening at 7:30 in the Jubilee Hall to experience God’s love in a personal way through the power of the Holy Spirit. We praise, we pray, we sing –and we have joy. Come and join us and share the words of God.
St. Matthew’s Young Adults
This group of young adults (18-35) meets every two weeks for a time of fellowship, prayer and learning more about the Catholic faith. It is a source of encouragement and support for young adults in the parish as they seek to follow Jesus more fully in their lives.
Daily Rosary – before Mass each day
First Friday Adoration –after every first Friday morning Mass until noon
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Novena – after the Saturday morning Mass
Divine Mercy Chaplet – following the Tuesday evening Mass
